Static Page Update Alerts

By: , On Thursday, November 27th, 2008

Have you ever wanted to track changes to a specific page on a web site but didn’t know how? Well now you’re in luck: enter ChangeDetection.com.

Change Detection is the simplest way I’ve come across to get updates from feedless web pages.  You can set up your alerts on a page by page basis and chose to be alerted via email, or RSS only, which the site creates from your monitored web pages.

Change Detection is also a good tool for web masters, the site  provides you with a tool for comparing pages, a change log, and  code for inserting a panel into your site making it easier for visitors to track changes to your site.

If you need a way to track changes on a feedless web site I recommend this service.
